Bois d’Arc Lake is not yet open for recreation or boat access, but preparations are underway to open the lake to the public. Many factors are involved in ensuring a new lake is ready to open to the public including lake levels rising for sustained use of the public boat ramps, conditions on the lake supporting safe recreation, and coordination with law enforcement and emergency response agencies.
North Texas Municipal Water District will update this website when Bois d’Arc Lake is open to the public.
